Blow Your Own

The greatest thing about bubbling (creating a speech bubble parody), is that it's so damn easy. It's so easy, you'll shit yourself. I almost did.

First, go to your favourite video hosting community and find a tasty nugget with which to make the funny. Then, head on over to BubblePLY and register to become a member.

Now, paste the URL of your victim into the input box on the front page.

The BubblePLY editor will appear, with a grid overlaid on the video. You can use this grid to align bubbles, but I find it's better to turn it off.

Press play, and pause when you find a good spot to drop a bubble. Click Add Bubble and then you can move, resize, change colours and font sizes, and of course enter some piss funny text.

Here's the good bit. Once you're done creating your magnum opus, you can share it with the world. I don't mean by emails or embedding it, if we think your bubble is hilarious, we'll include it in the next episode. No cash will change hands, but your bubble up will be there for the world to see. With your name on it, and your own director's commentary and avatar!
